Cleish Village Trust

Discussions with the Church of Scotland have progressed well and the valuation carried out by the surveyors has set £90,000 for Cleish Church. They have agreed that the CVT can have until the end of this year 2025 to complete fundraising in order to make an offer that would be in the region of the valuation. The Glebe is not currently for sale and we are awaiting the valuation of the Cottage. Whether either of those are pursued will be decided in due course but would be separate fundraising initiatives. That said we have a target for the Church building and we are setting up crowdfunding and other funding routes on this website and by private discussion. Lets keep the Cleish Church in community ownership so it can shine as a venue for future community uses including concerts, weddings, fuerals and life celebrations.
