The Trust is applying to various funders, however it should be noted that some larger funders are not accepting applications, for a variety of reasons, for a capital purchase. In the interim we are pursuing funding not just for the Capital purchase of the Church, but also for additional expenses, such as a condition survey.
Whilst we already have some generous private contributions promised we are still a long way off our goal and would kindly remind you that this will be a one-off opportunity to save this building for community use. Please consider donating or asking to speak to one of the Trustees to make a pledge in confidence.
With your help to keep the building in community ownership it would afford everyone the opportunity to have a centre for celebration, condolence, the arts, talks and recitals. A historic building that stands on a site that has served the community since the 13th century and that has been instrumental in the formation of this greater parish.
